A new report says Maddox is the main contender for a starring role in ‘Battling Boy,’ a popular graphic novel created by Paul Pope that may be headed to theaters! His dad, Brad Pitt, is reportedly behind the project — and thinks Maddox would be a great fit for the character!

Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 13, has certainly grown up into a dapper young teen right before our eyes! But is he about to come of age on the silver screen? His parents, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, reportedly believe that Maddox would be great in a role in a film adaptation of Battling Boy — but want to be cautious about how he breaks into the industry!

Brad reportedly finds the film a great opportunity for his son, but wants to be smart about how he proceeds. “Maddox would be amazing in the part, but Brad is wary of going ‘all Will Smith with his kids,’” an insider told Radar Online, meaning that he does not want his children to be major faces in the business at such a young age.

“This could be a special case though, because Brad got involved in the project so early that his influence – and Maddox’s — are really felt across the board on this thing,” said Radar‘s source. “There are panels [of the graphic novel] that even use some signature Maddox facial expressions!”

Brad is reportedly excited about the prospect. “This is the next movie Brad wants to produce and he even has financing lined up from his deal with India’s Reliance to make this thing,” the insider told Radar, adding that “Maddox could be playing the part within 10 months or less.”
